Applications are now open for the GELA Prestigious Global Mentorship Programme (PGMP) 2026, a leadership development initiative designed to identify, train, mentor, and empower the next generation of global leaders.
Formerly known as the West Africa Foreign Mentorship Programme (WAFMP), PGMP is committed to nurturing outstanding young leaders for careers in politics, business, public service, and other sectors.
The programme specifically supports young people aged 18–35, including individuals from underrepresented, marginalized, and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities, by equipping them with the skills, mentorship, and global exposure needed to thrive.
GELA also provides an engaging learning environment with gamified features that enable undergraduates, graduates, and young professionals to build their employability skills, compete with peers, and earn rewards while learning—without fear of discrimination or inferiority.
