Applications are now open for the IDEAS-TVET Initiative Cohort 3 Digital Media Production Training Programme, a six-month capacity-building opportunity implemented by PODBETA NG under a World Bank-supported initiative through the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria.
This programme is designed to empower young Nigerians who are passionate about media, storytelling, content creation, photography, videography, podcasting, and digital communications. It focuses on equipping participants with practical, industry-relevant skills needed to thrive in the fast-growing creative and digital media sector.
Programme Structure
The training is divided into two major phases:
Phase 1: Intensive Training (3 Months)
Participants will undergo three months of hands-on training delivered by experienced industry professionals from Nigeria and abroad. This phase emphasizes practical learning in media production, content development, and digital storytelling, ensuring participants gain real, applicable skills.
Phase 2: Internship Placement (3 Months)
After the training phase, participants will proceed to a three-month internship in media and production organizations. This stage provides real-world exposure, allowing trainees to apply their skills, build professional portfolios, and gain valuable industry experience.
