The Workshop Engineer plays a critical role by supporting the Workshop Supervisor in all technical and quality-related aspects of repair, servicing, and maintenance operations. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for the Julius Berger Workshop Engineer Development Programme must meet the following requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in maintenance, repairs, fleet management, or engineering support within PED
  • A written recommendation letter from a current Supervisor or Manager confirming good conduct, discipline, technical suitability, and readiness for professional development
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and workshop documentation
  • Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • High level of responsibility, integrity, and safety awareness
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to guide and support others
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
