Call for Applications: Bosun Tijani Foundation Gen AI Fellowship 2026 | Cohort 2

Applications are now open for the Bosun Tijani Foundation Gen AI Fellowship 2026 (Cohort 2), a fully funded six-month programme designed to equip young Nigerians with practical, in-demand skills in Generative Artificial Intelligence.

Following the successful completion of its first cohort, which trained over 80 fellows, the Foundation is once again offering young Nigerians an opportunity to gain hands-on AI experience, learn from industry experts, build real-world solutions, and prepare for careers in one of the fastest-growing fields in technology.

Participants will also receive a monthly stipend throughout the programme.

About the Fellowship

The Bosun Tijani Foundation Gen AI Fellowship is an intensive six-month training programme that combines technical instruction, practical projects, mentorship, and career development.

Participants will choose one of two specialized learning tracks based on their interests and career goals. The programme is delivered through physical training sessions at designated centres and focuses on building practical skills that can be applied immediately in industry.

Training Tracks

Applicants will choose one of the following tracks:

AI Engineering Track

This track focuses on developing AI systems and infrastructure. Participants will learn:

  • Machine Learning and Model Fine-tuning
  • MLOps and AI Infrastructure
  • Agentic RAG Systems
  • Cloud Deployment using SageMaker, Docker, and related tools
  • AI Security
  • Model Optimization

AI Application Track

This track focuses on building AI-powered applications and digital products. Participants will learn:

  • Next.js and modern web development
  • React
  • AI API Integration (OpenAI, Claude, and related tools)
  • Backend Integration
  • Databases
  • Product Design
  • User Experience (UX) for AI Applications
