Call for Applications: ICMM Young Leaders Scholarship 2026 for Global Changemakers
The International Council on Mining and Metals, in partnership with One Young World, has officially launched the ICMM Young Leaders Scholarship 2026—a prestigious opportunity designed to support and empower outstanding young leaders worldwide.
This scholarship targets individuals aged 18–35 who are actively contributing to sustainability, biodiversity conservation, climate action, and responsible resource production. It aims to amplify the voices of young changemakers committed to building a more sustainable and equitable future.
Programme Overview
Successful applicants will receive a fully funded opportunity to attend the globally recognized One Young World Summit 2026, taking place in Cape Town, South Africa from 3–6 November 2026.
The summit will convene young leaders, policymakers, business executives, and social innovators from over 190 countries to collaborate on solutions to pressing global challenges.

Selected scholars will receive:

About the Initiative
