Fellowship Responsibilities
During the fellowship year, participants are required to:
- Share Work Through Updates: Provide regular progress updates to the CatchLight community.
- Present Your Work: Share your findings and outcomes in engaging formats.
- Document Visually: Use visuals and data to highlight your journey and project results.

Fellowship Benefits

Testing creative ways to engage audiences using visual storytelling. - Community Activation:
Leveraging storytelling to meet specific community needs or engage unique audiences. - Field Sustainability:
Developing systems or models that push the boundaries of visual storytelling and its media ecosystem.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- Fellowship Statement (200 words): Explain how your visuals engage audiences and drive long-term impact.
- Project Description (250 words): Outline your proposed work.
- Impact and Distribution Plan (250 words): Highlight how your approach differs from industry norms and specify your target audience.
- Feedback Plan (100 words): Share how you’ll measure the impact of your work.
- Timeline: Provide a timeline for the proposed work (broad or detailed).
- Budget Estimate: Indicate how you’ll allocate the $30,000 and note other funding sources if applicable.
- Topics for Learning Sharing: Suggest three topics to share with the CatchLight community.
- Portfolio: Submit 10–20 images (CatchLight may use these for promotional materials).
- References: Provide contact information for three professional references.
- Short Bio: Briefly introduce yourself and your work.
- CV: Include a current curriculum vitae.
