Applications are open for the MMoCRA Master’s and PhD Scholarships 2026, funded by the European Union under the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme.
MMoCRA, which stands for Multidisciplinary Mobility for a Climate Resilient Africa, connects African and European universities to strengthen postgraduate education, research and academic mobility in areas critical to Africa’s development.
The programme offers Master’s and PhD opportunities for eligible candidates to study at participating African universities while developing expertise in climate resilience, technology, energy, agriculture and other priority areas.

About the Programme
The MMoCRA Project brings together universities and researchers to provide advanced academic training while supporting research that addresses challenges facing African countries.
Through the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, selected students undertake postgraduate programmes within the participating university network and become part of a wider multidisciplinary research and training community.
The programme is funded by the European Union.
