Responsibilities

As a Graduate Trainee, successful candidates will be expected to:

• Assist with the inspection of lifting equipment, accessories and related engineering equipment.
• Support inspection activities conducted at project sites and other operational locations.
• Assist experienced Inspection Engineers during routine and specialised inspection assignments.
• Participate in the preparation and execution of inspection activities in line with approved procedures.
• Help verify that equipment and project activities comply with applicable operating procedures, safety requirements and industry standards.
• Support the identification and documentation of equipment conditions, defects and areas requiring attention.
• Assist with maintaining accurate inspection records, reports and other relevant technical documentation.
• Work closely with engineers and other technical personnel during project activities.
• Follow established health, safety and environmental requirements while carrying out assigned duties.
• Support the effective and timely execution of projects.
• Develop practical knowledge of asset integrity, inspection processes and technical services.
• Carry out other relevant duties assigned by supervising engineers or project leads.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• A B.Sc. or HND in any Engineering discipline from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) or its equivalent.
• Strong interest in inspection engineering, asset integrity, engineering services or related technical fields.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical engineering skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of experienced professionals.
• Good attention to detail and a willingness to follow established procedures.
• Ability to work in a project-based environment and collaborate with other team members.
• Willingness to work at project sites when required.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills will be an advantage.
