Applications are currently open for the 2027 Khalifa University Fall Postgraduate Admission for Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes at Khalifa University of Science and Technology.
The Khalifa University Graduate Scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to eligible postgraduate students, including tuition coverage, monthly stipends, accommodation support, medical insurance, visa fees and other benefits.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent for direct admission from Bachelor’s to PhD.
OR
- A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.25/4.0 or equivalent.
Applicants must also provide:
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum 91, or equivalent
- IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.5
- EmSAT English: Minimum 1550
- GRE: Minimum quantitative score of 150, with all three GRE sections attempted
- At least two referee recommendations
- Statement of Purpose: 500–1,000 words
- Research Statement: 500–1,000 words for PhD applicants
- Successful completion of an admission interview

Scholarship benefits
Depending on the scholarship tier awarded, successful applicants may receive:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- Basic monthly stipend of AED 20,000
- Additional monthly allowance of AED 20,000, subject to approval and meeting scholarship progression requirements
- Textbooks provided by the University
- Support for international research conference attendance, subject to approval
- Medical insurance for eligible full-time international students
- Mobilization and demobilization flights for eligible overseas international students
- UAE visa application fee coverage
- Potential post-graduation employment commitment with Khalifa University or a nominated entity for a period equivalent to the period of study
Important: Scholarship eligibility is assessed during the admission process, so applicants do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. Scholarship slots are limited, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee a scholarship.
