Lagos State Ministry of Health
The Lagos State Ministry of Health (LSMoH) is a pivotal player in the fight against public health challenges, acting as the Principal Recipient (PR) for the Integrated Global Fund Grant.
This grant targets HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Resilient Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH). As the PR, the Ministry holds full responsibility for managing the grant, ensuring that both programmatic goals are met and financial resources are utilized efficiently and transparently.
To successfully fulfill these obligations, the Ministry established the Grant Management Unit (GMU). The GMU collaborates closely with various implementing units—including TB, HIV, and RSSH divisions within the LSMoH—as well as Sub-Recipients (SRs) and other critical partners.
Their joint effort ensures that the grant is implemented in strict compliance with the terms set forth in the agreement between the Global Fund and the Principal Recipient.
