Mastercard Foundation × Tech4Dev Free Tech Training & Employment Opportunities for Women 2026

Applications are open for the Technology Talent Services (TTS) Nigeria Program, an initiative implemented by Technology for Social Change and Development Initiative (Tech4Dev) with funding support from the Mastercard Foundation.

The programme is designed to equip young Nigerian women with in-demand digital and workplace skills while creating pathways to employment opportunities in the growing digital economy.

For the current call, women aged 18–35 in Lagos State can apply for free training across technology and tech-enabled career pathways, including Cybersecurity, Data and Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, and Executive Administration with Social Media expertise.

No applicant is expected to have her entire career figured out before applying. The programme is focused on helping participants build relevant skills, confidence and readiness for meaningful employment.

About the Technology Talent Services (TTS) Nigeria Program

Technology Talent Services (TTS) Nigeria is an 18-month programme running from February 2026 to July 2027.

The broader programme is being implemented across 12 states in Nigeria and seeks to create inclusive pathways into technology-enabled careers for young women.

Tech4Dev serves as the lead implementing organisation, while the Mastercard Foundation is the funding partner.

The initiative combines skills development with pathways to employment, helping participants acquire competencies relevant to today’s workplace rather than focusing only on classroom training.

Available Career Pathways

Applicants can develop skills relevant to the following areas:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Software Engineering
  • Executive Administrative Assistant with Social Media Expertise

These pathways cover both technical and tech-enabled non-coding careers, allowing women with different interests and career goals to participate.

Who Can Apply?

For the current Lagos State application call, applicants should:

  • Be women aged 18–35
  • Be based in Lagos State
  • Have an interest in developing employable digital or tech-enabled skills
  • Be willing to learn, grow and prepare for employment opportunities
  • Be able to participate in the programme’s training and development activities

Young women who are just beginning their careers are encouraged to apply.

Priority and Inclusive Participation

The programme particularly encourages applications from women who may face additional barriers to accessing education, skills development and employment opportunities.

These include:

  • Young women living with disabilities
  • Internally displaced women
  • Nursing mothers

Eligible women from these groups are encouraged to apply for the programme.
