Africana League is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Communications and Partnerships Officer. The full-time role is remote and offers a monthly salary of ₦150,000.
Africana League is a Pan-African civic leadership organisation committed to empowering young Africans to move from passive observers to active leaders. The organisation has over 10,000 platform users and more than 15,000 YouTube subscribers.
The successful candidate will lead the organisation’s communications strategy and digital presence, with a focus on growing membership, strengthening partnerships and supporting fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organisation’s communications strategy.
- Manage social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram and X.
- Plan and execute digital campaigns to increase membership and app users.
- Prepare communications materials for partners and donor updates.
- Support partnership development and outreach activities.
- Recruit, engage and manage the Africana League online community.
- Monitor digital performance and prepare monthly reports on growth and results.
Requirements
Interested applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least three years of experience in communications, digital marketing or strategy.
- A strong interest in youth development, youth movements and youth-focused platforms.
- Experience in the development sector, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) or civic engagement.
- Experience in partnership communications.
- Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills.

Experience in YouTube growth and monetisation will be an added advantage.
