STAR Academy Graduate Trainee Programme 2026 (Cohort 6) for Clean Energy and Infrastructure Finance Professionals

STAR Academy Graduate Trainee Programme 2026 (Cohort 6) for Clean Energy and Infrastructure Finance Professionals

The STAR Academy Graduate Trainee Programme 2026 is a flagship talent development initiative of Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company (InfraCredit), designed to build a strong pipeline of project finance professionals for Africa’s clean energy and infrastructure sectors.

About InfraCredit

InfraCredit provides local-currency credit guarantees that enhance the credit quality of debt instruments issued to finance eligible, creditworthy infrastructure projects in Nigeria.

The organisation was established to address a major gap in Nigeria’s financial ecosystem: the limited availability of long-term capital required for infrastructure projects to achieve commercial success, as such funding is largely unavailable within the domestic banking market.

Through its guarantees, InfraCredit acts as a catalyst for mobilising long-term investments from pension funds, insurance companies, and other institutional investors.

This approach helps deepen Nigeria’s debt capital markets while encouraging pension fund participation in long-term infrastructure financing.
