Step-by-Step Guide on How to Apply for the FG ₦50,000 National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI) Monthly Relief Payment 2026
Interested Nigerians can follow the steps below to check their eligibility and receive the ₦50,000 monthly relief payment.
Step 1: Ensure you have an active mobile phone number linked to your personal records.
Step 2: Check your SMS messages regularly for an eligibility notification from any of the approved payment providers: ALAT, MoMo PSB, NairaGram, OPay or Moniepoint.

Step 3: You can also check your eligibility using the USSD code of the approved payment providers:
- ALAT by Wema Bank: 94523#
- MoMo PSB: 6710#
- NairaGram: 72600#
- OPay: 95520#
- Moniepoint: 557327#
Step 4: If you have been selected, follow the instructions in the notification and reply YES to give your consent to receive the support.

Step 5: After confirming your participation, your mobile wallet will be activated and linked to your phone number and National Identification Number (NIN).
Step 6: Once the payment is credited, you will receive an SMS confirmation. You can withdraw the money through an authorised POS agent, transfer it to your bank account or spend it directly from your wallet.
