About the UNDP Internship
The UNDP’s Unit of Information and Technology Management (ITM) in Copenhagen supports UNDP Country Offices globally by providing ICT and Green Energy solutions.
For 2025, the program is seeking People Development Interns with expertise or interest in areas such as:
- Onboarding and People Management
- Leadership Development
- Capability and Career Development
- Data and Knowledge Management
- Evaluation
- Communication

Applicants can choose up to two areas of interest from the following roles:
- Onboarding & People Management Intern
- Leadership Development Intern
- Capability Development Intern
- Career Development Intern

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in a graduate program (e.g., master’s, second university degree, or equivalent).
- Be in the final year of a first university degree program (e.g., bachelor’s level).
- Have recently graduated (within the last year) from a university program.
Experience or a strong interest in one of the workstream areas is preferred.
Duration and Rewards
- Duration: Up to 6 months
- Stipend: A monthly stipend of up to $1,000 (Copenhagen-based rate). Stipends for part-time internships are prorated accordingly.

Required Skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in IT tools and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Power Automate).
- Knowledge of design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Illustrator).
- Fluency in English (working knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus).
