Youth Leading Change Fellowship 2025: Empowering Young Leaders Across Northwest Nigeria
Bridge Connect Africa Initiative (BCAI), with the support of the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF), is pleased to announce the call for applications to the Youth Leading Change Program (YLCP) Fellowship.
This fellowship is designed for young leaders aged 18–35 from Northwest Nigeria (Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, and Jigawa) who are passionate about driving meaningful social impact in their communities.
The 10-month program provides youth with the skills, resources, and networks to become effective change-makers.
Through a blend of hybrid learning, policy dialogues, summits, and mentorship, fellows will be empowered to influence governance and development agendas across the region.

Fellowship Benefits – What Fellows Will Gain
- Hybrid Trainings: Participate in in-person and virtual learning sessions.
- Policy Engagement: Lead state-level policy dialogues and contribute to governance processes.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be aged 18–35 years
- Must be a resident of any of the 7 Northwest states (Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Jigawa)
Open to applicants with at least one of the following qualifications:
- Secondary School Certificate
- Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s / PhD
Fellowship Duration
10 months (September 2025 – June 2026)
