By energy grid, Elektron refers to infrastructure that moves or provides wholesale energy to the country, including power plants, oil and gas transportation systems, processing and storage facilities, and related utilities.
The company aims to aggregate such assets by building, buying, owning, and operating energy infrastructure assets across Nigeria.

About the Role
The Graduate Trainee role is a 12-month development opportunity for graduates who are eager to learn, grow, and build careers in the energy infrastructure sector.
Trainees will work with experienced professionals, participate in field activities, support departmental projects, and gain a practical understanding of how the company operates across different business areas.
The role is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning into permanent employment after successful completion of the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and assist managers or senior staff where required.
- Complete fieldwork and visit different work sites when necessary.
- Take notes on work experiences and keep records of lessons learned.
- Compile reports and prepare presentations for team members.
- Analyze existing systems and suggest ideas for improvement.
- Understand the company from different departmental perspectives.
- Adapt to the working environment and team culture.
- Work with line managers to maintain strong performance ratings.
