The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has opened applications for the 8th cohort of its Entrepreneurship Training Programme (ETP), a flagship capacity-building initiative designed to equip Nigerian entrepreneurs and MSMEs with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to build sustainable and profitable businesses.
Since its launch in 2019, the programme has empowered thousands of entrepreneurs across Nigeria with practical business training, mentorship, access to industry insights, and opportunities to compete for business grants.
The programme is delivered through DBN’s online learning platform, allowing participants to learn at their own pace while gaining valuable knowledge that can help them formalize operations, improve business performance, access funding opportunities, and scale their ventures.
Participants who successfully complete the programme may also be selected for physical workshops and business pitch sessions where they can compete for grants and other rewards.
In addition, DBN’s BizAid Reward4Learning initiative rewards top-performing entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence during the training.

About the Programme

Reward4Learning Initiative
Through the BizAid Reward4Learning initiative, DBN rewards entrepreneurs who perform exceptionally well during the programme.
Every two weeks, top-performing business owners who achieve the highest scores in the final examinations of designated course themes receive cash rewards.
Participants also stand a chance to win prizes and business grants based on performance.
