Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Skill Development Training Program 2026
In line with its mandate to build human capacity and strengthen skills development in the Niger Delta region, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has concluded arrangements to train Niger Delta youths under its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Vehicle Conversion Training Programme.
This initiative is designed to equip beneficiaries with practical and market-relevant skills in Autogas Conversion Technology, in line with NDDC’s core objective of empowering youths with employable technical competencies.
Beyond skills acquisition, the programme is expected to contribute significantly to the development of a more reliable and sustainable transportation sector.
It will stimulate economic growth through job creation, increase demand for skilled Autogas professionals, and support the reduction of harmful emissions—reinforcing NDDC’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability.

Eligibility Criteria for NDDC Skill Development Training 2026
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be an indigene of any of the nine (9) Niger Delta states
- Possess a minimum qualification of SSCE/WAEC (Science-related subjects), OND (Sciences), or Trade Test Certificate from a recognized institution
- Fresh engineering graduates within the Niger Delta with a strong interest and clear career vision in CNG Conversion Technology may also apply
- Must be aged 18–35 years
- Other recognized technical qualifications related to automotive, mechanical, or allied trades will be considered

Application Guidelines
- Applicants must complete the application form only once; multiple submissions will lead to automatic disqualification
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
- Selected applicants will be required to present original copies of their educational certificates, Local Government identification, and other relevant documents during final screening
- Beneficiaries of previous NDDC Skills Acquisition and Empowerment Programmes are not eligible to apply
- Applications must be submitted online within ten (10) days from the date of this publication
