Baba further assured stakeholders that President Tinubu’s administration remains committed to expanding the scope of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP).

According to him, the pilot phase for farmers would serve as a solid foundation for a nationwide rollout in 2026, covering more communities and diverse sectors of the economy.

He also acknowledged the contributions of past administrations and former ministers in establishing and growing GEEP since its inception in 2016. However, he stressed that ongoing reforms are being introduced to improve delivery mechanisms, strengthen accountability, and eliminate leakages.
